We are recruiting on purpose a Structural Forensic Engineer in Memphis. The position is Remote with 50% travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform on-site investigations to assess damage and identify failure causes in residential and commercial structures.

  • Prepare detailed, accurate engineering reports that align with internal standards and industry best practices.

  • Communicate findings effectively with clients, insurance representatives, and other stakeholders.

  • Maintain thorough documentation and deliver outstanding customer service throughout each project.

  • Review and provide constructive feedback on peer reports to ensure quality and consistency.

  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and progress, escalating risks or concerns as needed.

  • Support project workflows with flexibility and a proactive approach to changing priorities.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).

  • Licensure: Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the state of assignment; NCEES record preferred.

  • Experience: 2–3 years in forensic engineering, failure analysis, construction, or related building engineering fields.

  • Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, exceptional organization and time-management, and high attention to detail.

  • Mindset: Dependable, self-motivated, and able to excel both independently and in a team environment.
